Singh Digital Media House is honored to announce Hardy Singh as our Bhangra Mentor for the Singh International Solo Bhangra Competition.

Hardy Singh, also known as Hardeep Singh, embarked on his dance journey at the young age of 10. His passion and dedication have led him to become a prominent figure in the Bhangra community. He is currently the leader of Pure Bhangra, the premier Bhangra crew in the Middle East, which he founded in November 2011. Since its inception, Pure Bhangra has become a symbol of excellence and energy in the Bhangra dance scene.

With over 15 years of professional experience, Hardy has showcased his talent on numerous international platforms. His expertise has taken him around the globe, conducting Bhangra workshops that have inspired and educated countless enthusiasts. As a versatile and professional trainer, Hardy offers a variety of workshops, from hourly sessions to personalized and corporate training programs. His workshops are renowned for their high energy, technical precision, and the joy they bring to participants.

Hardy’s reputation as a judge is equally impressive. He has been invited to adjudicate at prestigious Bhangra competitions, including ‘Bhangra Dance Off’ in Malaysia, ‘Bhangra Auckland Da’ in New Zealand, and ‘Youth Fest’ for Middlesex University in the UAE. His insightful critiques and encouragement have helped shape the careers of many aspiring dancers.

When Hardy first started Pure Bhangra, he had just 7 members. Today, the team has grown to include over 30 dedicated dancers, each on their path to becoming professional Bhangra trainers. Hardy and his team have hosted workshops not only across the UAE but also in Muscat and Delhi, spreading the vibrant culture of Bhangra far and wide.

Hardy’s contributions to the Punjabi film industry are also noteworthy. He has been featured in several music videos, bringing the dynamic spirit of Bhangra to the screen. His performances are a testament to his versatility and his ability to captivate audiences.

Currently based in Dubai, Hardy continues to train Bhangra enthusiasts at the Sharmila Dance Academy, where his classes are highly sought after. Recently, he conducted a workshop at one of Europe’s largest festivals, India 0km in Stockholm, Sweden. This event was a major success, further solidifying his popularity among European Bhangra fans who eagerly participate in his sessions.

European Bhangra enthusiasts follow Hardy Singh passionately, and his workshops are filled with the vibrant energy of “balle balle.” His influence and charisma have made him a beloved figure in the Bhangra community worldwide.
